High-volume resellers may qualify for a license to resell DeskLot under their own brand name. This option includes the ability to custom tailor many DeskLot functions, such as; the brand name displayed throughout the program, the URL's the program goes too such as to register, to order stickers, for support, etc. For all intents and purposes, to the end user, it looks like your own software package.

This is a perfect solution for larger scale companies who have the potential to sell large volumes (in the thousands), are in a position to market and support the product professionally and thoroughly to the end user, yet realize that by time they spend the research and development time to attempt to re-create the wheel not to mention to test and refine it in the real world, most of their target customers will have already purchased and happily be using an alternative solution.

This option is NOT for everyone and not for the typical reseller. It is primarily created for major companies who can easily sell quantities in the thousands, however we made our quantity requirements only 100 units/yr. to help accommodate mid-sized companies as well as to help minimize the amount of upfront investment to you.

The basic requirements and specifics for a company to be qualified to market and sell a branded version of DeskLot are as follow:

  • For each copy you sell, our price to you is 50% of our standard displayed price ($149.50/yr. for Standard Version, $349.50/yr. for Enterprise Version). You charge your customers whatever price it is that you want to charge.
     
  • Your company provides complete support to the end user. Should your support staff need support, one or two select technical representatives from your company may contact us for advanced support issue. Your customers do not contact us for support. 
     
  • Your company provides/creates your own website to handle marketing the branded product, supporting it, and accepting orders. All orders go through your company via your sales staff and/or a website.
     
  • Your company is responsible for downloading the latest updates and installs from our website and adding them to your website for users to download or so that your company may burn them onto CD-ROM periodically for marketing the product.
     
  • Your company is responsible for it's own marketing and associated marketing expenses for the branded product.
     
  • Your company is responsible for any claims against it concerning the branded product. There is no way we can nor will be responsible for what you do with it and/or how you run your company, although we expect you to run a reputable and honorable business. We reserve the right to refuse branding to any company we feel is less than honorable or lacks the capacity to sell and support it in a professional way. It is your company, you are just licensing our "widget" per-se to sell and represent as your own.
     
  • There is a non-refundable $1,000 USD setup fee for the initial setup and configuration of your branded installation package. We provide you with a list of configuration settings so that you may tell us what you wish them to be and then we customize the help file with your brand name. We create a special branded installation package for you (i.e. yourbrand-setup.msi). You review and thoroughly test it and then confirm the package is as you wish (per the available customizable settings). We then move onto the step below.
     
  • Prior to releasing the branded version of DeskLot to you, your company must annually prepay your first $14,950 in sales (basically your first 100 copies). This credit payment is non-refundable and is meant to insure minimal yearly sales performance by companies who brand our product.
     
  • No custom programming or modification to the actual software is included. All available customizable settings are displayed below.
     
  • Due to the complexity of International law, this offering is only available to U.S. and Canadian resellers.

  • Executable program filename (i.e. desklot.exe, yourbrand.exe)
     
  • Long/Descriptive Brand Name (i.e. DeskLot by WalkTheLot.com, YourBrand by YourCompany.com, Some Window Sticker Software, etc)
     
  • Short Brand Name (i.e. DeskLot, Some Software, YourSoft)
     
  • Subscription Type (i.e. One-Time, Monthly, Yearly charge to the customer). NOTE: We charge you yearly.
     
  • Enable/Disable WalkTheLot specific program functions
     
  • Enable/Disable VinPower VIN Decoder
     
  • Enable/Disable VinLink VIN Exploder

To register this software, click the register button ("Step 1, Register"), which will open a web browser based registration form where you may purchase your annual subscription of YOUR BRAND with your Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover card. If you prefer to pay by check, the registration screen has a link (Adobe Acrobat order form) and instructions for mailing or faxing in your payment. If you purchase online, after your registration is sent you will receive an unlock code at the email address you enter during the registration process. You may then type the unlock code in the field below and click "Step 2, Unlock" to complete the registration process and license this software to operate on this machine.
