Based on the low annual price we charge for DeskLot, we provide limited support. Just as when you purchase a program such as Microsoft® Word, Microsoft will not walk you through creating a document or give personal one-on-one tutoring on how to use the program, nor will they walk you step by step through creating a document, configuring program options, or linking to another program or data such as linking a Word document to an Access database. If however something appears to not be functioning properly or a bug exists, they will assist you in correcting the issue. Additionally, they (as do we) provide built-in help files and online articles to assist you in using their product, answering questions, and solving common problems. DeskLot support is much the same. We can however provide additional services such as designing sticker configurations and configuring export or import configurations for an additional fee, typically at a rate of $55/hr with a one hour minimum. Please contact us concerning any additional assistance needs you might have.

Limited support includes support for things such as:

  • Providing a solution in the event of an error or bug.
  • Answering questions about DeskLot functions and features or providing "general" how-to advice. Support does not include walking a customer step by step in any process but is limited to giving general instruction.

Limited support does not include:

  • Helping configure a DMS or other software and/or service(s).
  • Helping to or designing a sticker, sticker configuration, an import, export, or web publish.
  • Supporting add-on components such as VIN decoders/exploders or other software that was not written by us that may be included with DeskLot. The company who created the software is responsible for supporting that software.
