If you come into contact with auto dealerships, such as a web
designer or sales person who markets products and services to
dealerships, and are interested in reselling DeskLot, complete
the reseller registration form below.
Registered
resellers can make 25%, and all the way up to 45% on each
DeskLot sale they make! And each year as existing DeskLot
customers renew, you get residual commissions.
It's
easy. You register. Then a copy of DeskLot will be sent out to
you on CD that has your own unique Reseller ID encoded in it. You take this copy along with you when you visit
dealerships and you either sell them on it via a notebook
computer you carry with you, or you can install the 30 day trial
on their PC. When they register, whether you are there or
not when they do, your Reseller ID is passed onto us and you get
an email notification of your new sale.
There
are three versions you can install on their machine.
- The version you get in the mail on CD after you signup for
a Reseller account that has your Reseller ID encoded in it.
You can burn copies of this disc on CD-ROM and hand them
out, or you can install the software from the CD onto
dealerships computers. When they register, our system gets
notified and you get the commission.
- The
normal version such as you would download here that does NOT
have your Reseller ID encoded in it. When you
install this version, before you leave, you want to run a
special reseller program (click
for screen shot). This small
application will record your reseller ID in their system,
and ask you if you want the sale to be discounted at time of
purchase (useful if you are paying with your credit card and
charging them yourself for the full price) or, if you want
your reseller account to be credited for the commission.
- The
reseller version, which is also available on your CD in the
Reseller folder or via download by downloading desklot-r.msi. The only difference in this version is,
when the dealership clicks the register menu option, it asks
them to contact you rather than sending them to our site.
This way, you collect the money (however you decide to do
that... part of a package deal, Net terms, whatever) from
them and are responsible for paying us via credit card in
order to get the unlock code.

Payments are generally mailed out within the 1st week the
payment is received from the end-user. During peak sales
seasons, we may opt to send checks out once per month on the 1st
of the month. Reseller
commissions do not apply to the sale of VinPower,
VinLink or window
stickers.
To get
started, complete the reseller application below. Once we
receive it, we will mail you out a CD of the latest version as
well as some sticker samples.
