DeskLot is available in three versions; the Standard, Professional, and Enterprise Versions.
The Standard version is for dealerships who only need to manage one lot within the program. Licensing of this version is not available for dealer service companies.
The Professional Version is normally used by window sticker printing/vehicle data collection companies, or by dealership groups needing to manage two or more lots within a single installation of the software.
This version is for clients who have a WebLot account for each of their dealers.
The Professional Version does not allow for outbound vehicle data distribution directly from within the software to 3rd party sites and providers. For outbound data distribution, vehicle data is sent to WebLot, where our automated distribution engines handle distribution of inventory to 3rd party providers and sites.
The Enterpise Version is normally used by window sticker printing/vehicle data collection companies, or by dealership groups needing to manage two or more lots within a single installation of the software.
This version is for clients who do not use a WebLot account for each of their dealers.
The Enterprise version allows outbound vehicle data distribution directly from within the software to 3rd party sites and providers.
Licensing for all versions is also available on a quarterly basis as opposed to yearly for a 5% surcharge.

We encourage you to download the 30 day free trial and to use the majority of those 30 days so that you can take your time getting the software fully implemented within your company prior to purchasing a license. To purchase a DeskLot yearly license, download and install the 30 day free trial onto the computer that you wish to license the software to run on. Then use the "Register" menu within the program to receive your unlock code 24/7.
We've included the basic VIN decoder at no additional charge to you.
With the customizable vehicle equipment list, self-learning vehicle data dropdowns, and easy data entry features of DeskLot, many clients may not need to use a VIN decoder within the program. However, for those who do, the VIN Advanced VIN exploder, which uses VIN Advanced VIN data, is available as an optional add-on subscription.
Q: Why isn't it just included in the price?
A: Some clients use it and some don't. We have very minimal markup on the fees we pay the VIN data provider for VIN Advanced, therefore, if we just included it in the price, that would drive the price up $540/year for "everyone".

I am just finishing up the trail period and getting ready to purchase a license. I feel great about the decision because of the softwares flawless performance since we first installed it, and the instant, helpful support I have received when questions came up. This is exactly the software solution I was looking for, and from what I can see, a great company to work with.
